Watkins, Dave

Musician, composer, performer, engineer, designer and carpenter from Richmond, Virginia (USA). He works full time for Richmond Ballet as A/V supervisor and is a freelance theatrical sound and projection designer.

In 2003 he released the album 'Without Words', recorded in four hours on a Friday night in May 2003. The album 'When No One Else Is Here And Everyone Is Asleep' was released in August 2011. It was followed in December by 'Lonely Spaces / Lonely Sounds'.

In 2014, Dave Watkins contributed a cover version of Big Stripey Lie to the album Running Up That Hill: Kate Bush Covers For Reproductive Rights.

'Respite' (2017) is a single long-form minimal/ambient/meditative audio work created from field recordings, dulcitar, and plenty of digital manipulation.
