Rose Of Lee

On a Tuesday night in March 1977, Kate Bush played her first ever gig as part of the KT Bush Band, at the Rose of Lee pub in Lewisham to an audience of at most a dozen people. The band played several shows and the word went around that the band was actually pretty good. Within a month it was almost impossible to get in.

The Rose Of Lee was situated at 162 Lee High Road. This pub was known as The Dirty South at time of closure in 2013.
