The Plunging Necklines started as a trio in 1995, first heard on WLUP's Sunday Funnies Show with Brian McCann. Jacqueline Krupka and Meg Guttman continued as a duo, performing eclectic tracks, specializing in medleys, "in queer juxtapositioning of songs serving a specific theme, a certain artist, or just 'cause it's goofy".
In 1998 they contributed a medley of Kashka From Baghdad with Babooshka to the fan-made compilation album I Wanna Be Kate.
