Vic King is a childhood friend of Brian Bath. He was a drummer in their band TAME, together with Del Palmer. After meeting Kate Bush they become the original incarnation of the KT Bush Band.
After touring in the summer of 1977, other players were recruited for the recordings of The Kick Inside album. While Brian Bath and Del Palmer were still working with Kate, Vic did not and so when the original members of the KT Bush Band were rounded up for promotional duties, he declined to participate. He was not contacted for other recordings with Kate.
Brian and Vic both had separate bands, but continued to work together on and off. When Brian Bath resurrected the KT Bush Band in 2016, he did participate and they played several live dates in the UK.
