Assistant engineer at Abbey Road between 1977 and 1986, Danny Dawson worked during sessions for the single December Will Be Magic Again and the album The Dreaming. After leaving Abbey Road he worked as a freelance sound engineer for nine years until he decided to become a freelance acupuncturist. Since 1999 he is working as an administrative software manager at the American School in London.
